Arie Sharon called for an attack on Iran well before there was any discussion of nuclear threat. The nuclear threat is the ace card in the otherwise very weak case Israel has for attacking anyone. Israel has the full backing of the USA and any attack will be treated as an attack on the USA so it will not happen. The Israeli government cries a lot but history has only one case of Israel being attacked and that was 1973 which was a direct result of the Israeli aggression of 1967. The official AIPAC web page has a cry that Israel is burden with a huge military defense cost. Maybe they should understand that 1/2 their military budget goes to controlling the land that they stole in 1967 and any attack on Iran will only bankrupt the USA or Israel. The world cannot afford to keep the bloated Israeli military mainly because they will use it when they feel it is a good time. In the weik leak the Israel military chief was shown to be pushing in late 2009 for an attack on Lebanon or Gaza mainly because he believed it was a good time to have a military conflict. Iran is just another case of insane people like the IDF chief who have lived in a military flooded with money provided by others. Lets give peace a chance and just eliminate all aid to the rich nation of Israel who apparently just use the money to fund a bloated military.
