A newly released confidential U.S. diplomatic cable predicted Cuba's economic situation could become "fatal" within two to three years, and detailed concerns from other countries' diplomats — including China — that the communist-run country has been slow to adopt reforms.

Cuba doesn't follow the example of Evil Empire which prints "money" to stimulate the economies of the countries providing slave labor for Western Corporations!

Venezuela is in flames? Is this "diplomat" nuts? No, he's just doing the old "tell 'em what they want to hear" cha cha. The cable came out last Feb, when oil was $80/barrel. Now its $89/barrel. Venezuela does oil. Get a clue.
And foreign oil companies on behalf of Cuba are exploring for Cuban oil in the Cuban waters in the Gulf of Mexico.
I can't say for sure, but I might wonder if that cable wasn't somehow meant to influence the Cuban-American vote in the recent elections.
Whatever. It's total bullshit.

Bullshit is all the US has to offer nowadays. Anything else costs too much money. The bullshit our government makes on a daily basis could sustain the world in perpetuity, if they could only learn how to turn it into gasoline.
