This article is confusion garbage, pure garbage.
1. Over 70% of all Venezuela media is owned by the rich, but is watched by only the 30% most rich.
2. GloboVision, like all of corporate owned media in Venezuela, does not have an “anti-Chavez slant,” for to this day they broadcast, “Assonate Chavez… Assonate Chavez… Assonate Chavez” and it can only be described as a kill-Chavez slant.
3. GloboVison, leading up to the coup of 2002 that overthrow Chavez, was the key organizer of the coup, and during the coup it was the TV station that everyone watched to get the latest propaganda from the coup leaders.
4. The fact that Chavez did not put an end to GloboVision immediately after the coup, this establishes that Chavez is not worried in the slightest about corporate media propaganda, not when public opinion has always been above 70% in his favor.
