If the USA and other Western nations had backed up (with force) the implementation of the 1967 UN resolutions with regard to Israel's occupation of Palestinian lands, we would not have today's problems. Their timidity and maybe collusion with Israel in the matter is an international crime. Now since the USA and the other Western states dictate what the United Nations can do, they can serve as both judge and jury to his crime. Since might will always be the most effective strategy if not right, I suggest that the surrounding Arab nations start to assemble a force that can implement the UN decisions. Such a move would make the USA and the other Western nations sit up and take note of their sins of omission.

I wonder how the powerful of Israel will take this meeting and its suggestions. I believe I have read many times that the zionist cried that the church should have gotten more involved in the holocaust. Now that the church members are taking action will the zionist cry it is none of their business. Will the zionist demand that the church stay out of the matter.

Wonderful article. Except for AntiWar.com I would never have known about this courageous meeting. The MMM will bury it in page 37. The only time the MMM reports on Vatical/Israel meetings is when Israel is demanding an apology for something that happened hundreds of years ago.
