So long as Europe continues to cling to the American style of military organization and warfare, it will find its military potential always declining. Europe needs to find its own way of doing things, because, for one, it will make the maintenance of its military potential at a reasonable level much more possible, and, secondly, it will breed the independence necessary to break away from the Yankees.
