Imagine roles reversed - with an Iranian warship downing a US passenger airliner - and Ahmednejad awarding a medal to the commander of the warship! Horrific? Precisely, how US actions are perceived around the world. US foreign policy has been mired in sheer hypocrisy for years now! Incredible how a despotic Shah remained a staunch ally of a democratic America, while a democratic regime in Iran - however unsavory to US interests - becomes a soft target for the world's only superpower. Then, we witness that almost the entire leadership of that superpower kowtows to the diktat of its zionist masters halfway around the world - and suddenly, it doesn't look that surprising any more.
