The U.S. has ruled out a military strike against Iran's nuclear program any time soon, hoping instead negotiations and United Nations sanctions will prevent the Middle East nation from developing nuclear weapons, a top U.S. defense department official said Wednesday.

There is a lot of new weapons development going on lately. This is partly the reason why USA and Russia are downsizing their nuclear arsenal. Basically, nuclear weapons are the thing of the past. They still are important as determent but there are more potent weapons today than nuclear which are ecologically “clean”, like vacuum bombs etc.
And, of course, chemical and biological. This is why all this shabbat around Iran “nukular weapons” is a sham, a distraction.
