Israel's hardline government is deeply worried that the U.S. will try to impose a Mideast peace deal, that the Palestinians might declare statehood unilaterally and that Washington could be moving to end tensions with Syria.

Awe…Poor Israel is afraid of Peace. No, what they are afraid of is being forced to give up their stolen lands and their dreams of eretz israel. They will probably miss being able to lord over the Palestinian untermensch. I guess they think it's fun to bomb them at will or bulldoze them whenever they please. They are, after all, only Palestinians!

The tragedy of our times continues to be the historical injustice that was doled out to the Palestinians through the creation of Israel. Hapless Palestinians were ethnically cleansed from their ancestral homes to redeem Jewish victims of the crimes of the Nazis. If the UN had called for creation of an evenly divided two states in Palestine in 1948, it had already subscribed to an unjust solution to the problem. The indulgence given the Israelis (primarily by the US) has allowed this Zionist state to metamorph into a the primary terrorist entity in the region. Nuclear-armed with no NNPT to worry about, its supreme arrogance is fed by the guaranteed blind support it enjoys from a US beholden to AIPAC. This has now come to a point where Netanyahu thinks nothing of showering humiliation on US leaders – only to find support from its loyalists in America! The only language a maniac like Netanyahu can follow is one couched in real consequences – not rhetorics. Americans have to see through those of their leaders that hold American interest above those of Israel – particularly when the two are as inimical as those of Israel and the US. Hold Israel to all hitherto floated security council resolutions and there might be a real chance for peace in the region. Don’t allow US tax-payer money to continue the ethnic cleansing of a defenceless people. The Palestinians have suffered enough.
