America's No.1 welfare queen is NOT a very good friend unfortunately. The Biden snub is a excellent example. It is America that is the good friend, too good. But we can argue that later, Friends on the dole should eschew spying on friends, should avoid holding the legislation of friends captive to their exclusive interests. Put another way, the blatant way that our "friend' exercises her ability to affect the policy of her friendly and very supportive ally betrays contempt.. I believe it is part of the same animal, (elephant?) as the hubris of the neocons. Their "Blind support for Israel and her policy is GOOD for America." thesis is a self destructive conceit. How long before those pitchfork wielding citizens apprehend the true provenance of the relationship? Slogans, wishful thinking and faith in ones ability to control perceptions cannot substitute for right action. Sewing seeds of hate against ones benefactor should be excusable ONLY when ones very existence is in question.. Not as a parting digit as was the cluster bombing of Lebanon with the AMERICAN ordnance. Giving Lebanon the parting gift that keeps on giving year after year, the death of their children. Is this their genocidal legacy?? It is not so much people as it is BAD people and their acquisitive proclivities. The taking of land without compensation is theft, here where it is proscribed in our shrinking constitution and there where is seems to be viewed as a birthright. It will lead to endless troubles and strife.
Let's hope not. Even one more "friend" like Israel and we would be sitting in a corner in a dunce cap.
