The top U.S. general in Afghanistan says the military campaign around the southern Afghan town of Marjah (MAR'-jah) could have been faster, but the cost in civilian casualties would have been too high.
Too bad they didn’t come up with this idea 10 years ago, maybe we’d be done by now. Then again, it’s totally obvious that this is about projecting a phony image, it’s sure not about any real genuine concern about civilian lives.
19 civilian deaths in what is essentially countryside. Wow! imagine if Marjah had been a "real" city. The body count, including our stormtroopers, would have risen exponentially.
McChrystal: "US slowed campaign to spare civilians." So, in this latest "military operation," only 19 innocent souls were murdered in an ongoing unjust, immoral and aggressive war. I guess It just goes to show you what a great humanitarian McChrystal is. That certainly ought to earn him a distinguished place in hell right alongside all of those who were convicted for similiar war crimes at Nuremberg.
