Iran is ready to exchange the bulk of its stockpile of enriched uranium for nuclear fuel rods — as proposed by the U.N. — but according to its own mechanisms and timetable, the foreign minister said Saturday.

The incredible double standard is a symptom of the disease of hypocrisy….. Would Iran's acquisition of a few nuclear weapons really be any problem..?? Or is it that the U.S. and England want to be able to attack Iran the way they did Iraq, based on lies to capture their oil..?? And why is it Iran who may be able to acquire a few devises……and Not Israel with probably more than 100 bombs…….. Israel who steals land and slaughters the indigenous people from whom they steal the land…… Why not condemn Lsrael for their non compliance…. WTF is goin on…???

What is going on is the FedGov's version of "Ocean's Eleven." The Iranians are incapable of enriching uranium even to the 20% level required for medicinal purposes, let alone the 90%+ level required for weapons. Therefore, the FedGov makes a gesture that on the surface appears to be magnanimous, that it will allow the Iranians to exchange 3.5% enriched uranium for 20% uranium. Such a deal! Only it's not. The French had a similar arrangement with the Iranians some 20 years ago, and they simply reneged and kept the 3.5% enriched Iranian uranium without providing the 20% enriched uranium in return. Clearly, the Iranians have every reason to believe that this scenario will play itself out once again should they hand over the great majority of their stockpile all at once as the FedGov demands. Given the nastiness with which the West has conducted its "negotiations" with Iran, only a rube would think that there is ANY possible generosity in the current "offer."

We may as well call it "Nuclear Kabuki" because of all the theatrics. If the Iranians are smart, and I believe they are, then they will follow their own timetable. The west is desperate to appease DC and London so kowtows and goes along to get along. Should the morons on the Potomac carry on with their murderous plans then the Iranians would be wise to ignore all the bluster and simply prepare themselves. Better to build more facilities and keep quiet.
