As I remember, when it was the USSR invading Afghanistan, the U.S. and their friends gave the Mujhadeen Stinger ground to air missiles to shoot down Soviet supply helicopters and their gunships too…. With that in mind, shouldn't the Russians supply the Taliban with Sam 6s or whatever their state of the art ground to air anti aircraft missiles… I can tell you that if the Russians were in Mexico and fighting with the local people, the U.S. would give the Mexicans EVERYTHING but Nuclear weapons…… Why would the Russians assist the West in encircling Russia and Iran……. Or is the real reason that the Russians are being so helpful is because they think Afghanistan will do to America what it did to them..?? Break-up..!!!!..?? Think about it, let me know………..
