The government has dropped a murder charge against a Marine who pleaded guilty Tuesday to dereliction of duty for killing an unarmed Iraqi detainee during a battle to recapture the city of Fallujah.
I dont know really what happend but I'am only guessing tempers fly when your freiends are shot by terrorists . I dont like these wars . I dont know who the dead iraqis are , or even if they are Iraqis . but they are terrorists . I suspect officers of dead soldiers have a intense hatred of terrorists . And a gross dislike and disrespect for U.S. government orders of war . I know one viet Nam vets orders where not to shoot unless fired at . but call up headquaters and tell us you were shot at . We can than give you permission to shoot back . This vet told me he did not obey these orders , and he was not going to obey them . They can throw me out of the army if They want too . but I'am not going to call . This idea of catch and release isnt even a sound idea for fish . But it is kinda like attempting self sucide with international terrorists .
When the Third Reich occupeyed foreign countries , they executed 100 civilans if one of their soldiers was killed by a terrorist . If their soldier was only wounded the killed only fifty . This worked very successfully for the Germans evreywhere accept Serbia . The Serbs would not giveup thats why over 500 allied pilots where in Serbia alive and well
They are terrorists much like Patrick Henry and Paul Revere were terrorists. There is a great documentary on this called, "Meeting Resistance." http://www.meetingresistance.com/ I recommend it highly, very well done. In it various members of the Iraqui Resistance movement discuss when and why they took up arms against the American invaders and occupiers.
