What a bunch of pussy-footing. A missile defence shield to protect Europe from Iran- when Iran has no missiles capable of reaching Europe- what sense does that make? Besides which, there's very little evidence Iran is interested in attacking it's most important trading partners. Why would they do that?
The President should have stood up and stated that the whole plan was the product of half-wits without an ounce of sense in their heads in the first place, and that anyone who objects to getting rid of such a bone-headed waste of money should be re-admitted to the asylum as soon as possible.
